We are pleased to advise that the Digital Profession is moving to the Australian Public Service Commission (APSC).
The change allows us to further align Digital Profession initiatives with the work of the APSC, including the APS Workforce Strategy, the Learning and Development Strategy, and the newly established APS Academy.
Our member offerings and programs will continue, and we look forward to new opportunities to build digital capability across the public service.
If you are already a Digital Profession member, nothing will change and you will continue to hear from us through the same channels. If you are not yet a member, you can sign up at www.digitalprofession.gov.au.
The Digital Profession will maintain its strong links with the digital transformation agenda and continue to support the Government’s priorities of ICT and digital strategy, investment, and assurance. Randall Brugeaud will continue as Head of the Digital Profession in his new capacity as Head of the Australian Simplified Trade System Implementation Taskforce. We look forward to the new insights Randall can offer the Profession and its members in his latest role.
The transfer also includes the Australian Government Style Manual. We’re happy we can keep providing this important resource for digital professionals and other staff across the APS.
